TIME TO SIGN UP YOUR TEAM TO WIN CROCK ‘N ROLL!

Want to win cash for your team? Every team at CHS can enter one crock pot dish for our Crock N Roll event on December 4th, to be judged by a secret local celebrity judge and enjoyed by our community. If your dish wins, your team receives $250 for their account!! It's so easy and fun! Here are the details:

1. Use the signup genius to let us know your team will be entering a dish by November 14th. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B094CAAA72DA57-60183588-carrboro#/

2. Choose one parent/family who will represent your team by preparing and serving your dish at the event. Work this out with your team/coaches. 

3. Dish details: guests will be served "tasting" sizes (think Costco 2 oz sample cups, which will be provided) Please plan for 50-100 of these servings which would be a large (8-10 qt) or medium (6-7 qt) size crock pot. One outlet and extension cord provided. Let us know if you need more than one outlet. 

4. Get creative! Chili, Soup, Hot Drinks, etc. If your dish requires extras like crackers, marshmallows, toothpicks, etc. please make sure you bring those and they are easy to serve/add to the provided sample cups. The guest judge will announce the winner at the event so make it good!  

5. Spread the word! The more guests, the more money for our athletics at Carrboro. Remember this is an adult only event and please encourage all your parents to attend. Details below:

Save the Date as we find out what team is the next Carrboro Crock Star! The Athletic Boosters are hosting an adult only fundraiser on Thursday, December 4 from 6-9pm at the Lumina Theatre. Drop in or hang out! Come sample crockpot creations, enter raffles for great prizes, savor specialty drinks and enjoy a night with your Carrboro community! Each CHS sports team parent has the opportunity to enter a crockpot dish, with the winning team taking home $250 for their team account. We'll also have a secret local celebrity guest judge! Stay tuned for more details on how to buy event and raffle tickets, which will be available online, starting November 16th. $30 per person includes event entry, all crockpot tastings and one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets and beverages are not included, but will be available for purchase. Can't wait to kick off the winter with warm hearts, cozy food & drinks and hot prizes!
